Travel support
Travel support
We always look to promote opportunities for travel and cultural exchange among the three countries. These might include the following:
- School groups
- Sports groups
- Musical tours and events
- Other types of cultural exchange
The maximum grant we give for travel support is:
- DKK 1.000 per person for travel between Iceland and the Faroe Islands (round trip)
- DKK 2.000 per person for travel between the Iceland and Greenland (round trip)
- DKK 3.000 per person fro travel between the Faroe Islands and Greenland (round trip)
The grant is only intended for travel costs – not accommodation or daily expenses.
How applications for travel support are evaluated
We evaluate applications for travel support based on the following factors:
- The purpose of the trip
- The quality of the application – be sure to fill the form out correctly, as incomplete forms will not be considered
- Emphasis on cultural interaction – e.g. staying with local families instead of using hotels
- Budget requirements and other funding
Once your trip has taken place
You will need to email NATA documentation of:
- The travel costs relating to your trip
- Bank details for where the grant payments should be sent
