Grants for tourism development and marketing
If you have a project of this type, involving collaboration between at least two of the three West Nordic Countries, then you can apply NATA for a grant.
We welcome a range of projects, and innovative and creative ideas are encouraged. These might include ideas based on:
- Collaborative marketing
- Innovation and product development
- Networking and knowledge exchange
- Quality and environmental issues in tourism
The maximum grant we give for this type of projects is DKK 100.000, and this amount must not exceed 50% of the project’s entire funding. The grant is not intended for wages or consultant fees.
How applications for tourism development and marketing grants are evaluated
The applications are evaluated on the following factors:
- The idea and quality of the application – be sure to fill in the form correctly, as incomplete forms will not be considered
- Budget requirements and other funding
- Tourism development
- Partnership between the countries
- Marketing possibilities
- Innovative nature
- Community and sustainability aspects

Support within this category is only considered to projects involving a collaboration between at least two of the three West Nordic Countries: Greenland, Iceland and the Faroe Islands.
Once your project or trip has taken place
After the completion of your project you will need to email NATA:
- A short project report
- Accounts
- Documentation of your expenses
- Bank details for where the grant payments should be sent
