
NATA is an organisation that was set up on the basis of close collaboration between the tourism councils of the Faroe Islands, Iceland and Greenland. NATA was established in January 2007, and is thus a young organisation. It has superseded the two tourism cooperation organisations SAMIK (tourism cooperation between Greenland and Iceland) and FITUR (tourism cooperation between Iceland and the Faroe Islands).
The organisation has three board members from each country. The chairmanship rotates every second year. Greenland held the chairmanship in 2007-2008 and it will be assumed by the Faroe Islands as of 1 January 2009. Turismesamarbejde mellem Grønland, Island og Færøerne
Alle, med interesse i at fremme turismerelationerne mellem landene, kan søge om midler til finansiering af projekter, ideer, produktudvikling, rejser eller lignende. Ansøgninger skal minimum indeholde samarbejde mellem to ud af de tre lande.
Der ydes primært støtte til projekter indenfor følgende områder:
Alle ansøgninger skal søges på formular, hvor der vedlægges evt. yderligere projektbeskrivelse og budget.

Ansøgning udfyldes på dansk eller engelsk. Afhængig af hvor du kommer fra skal ansøgningen rettes til NATA's kontor i enten Island eller Færøerne. Se i den relevante version af ansøgningsskemaet hvor ansøgningen skal sendes til.
