Grants for tourism development and marketing

If you have a project of this type, involving collaboration between at least two of the three West Nordic countries, then you can apply to NATA for a grant.

We welcome a range of projects, and innovative and creative ideas are encouraged. These might include ideas based on:

  • Collaborative marketing
  • Innovation and product development
  • Networking and knowledge exchange
  • Quality and environmental issues in tourism

The maximum grant we offer for these type of projects is 100,000 DKK, and this amount must not exceed 50% of the project‘s entire funding. The grant is not intended for wages or consultant fees.

How applications for tourism development and marketing grants are evaluated

  • These applications are evaluated on the following factors:
  • The idea
  • The quality of the application – be sure to fill the form out correctly, as incomplete forms will not be considered
  • Innovation
  • Marketing possibilities
  • Budget requirements and other funding
  • Community and sustainability aspects

Support within this category is only considered to projects involving a collaboration between at least two of the three West Nordic countries (Greenland, Iceland and the Faroe Islands).

The maximum grant offered for these type of projects is 100,000 DKK, and this amount must not exceed 50% of the project‘s entire funding. The grant is not for wages or consultant fees.

Once your project or trip has taken place

Tourism development and marketing grants: After the completion of your project you will need to email NATA a short project report, accounts, documentation of your expenses, and your bank details.
